X Marks the Spot follows a teenage graffiti artist named X who one night, while on the run from the police, suffers a head injury that leaves him with memory loss. He embarks on a one night odyssey through gentrified Elephant and Castle, and on his way forms an unlikely friendship with a shopkeeper named Oscar who shares in his feelings of loss for their ever changing neighbourhood.

X is forced to confront what remains of a place being erased around him - and whether home is a building, a community, or something carried within us.
